As part of SDI's mission to be the company of choice in geospatial solutions, we are a value added reseller of ESRI® ArcGIS® software. ArcGIS allows you to easily author data, maps, globes, and models on the desktop; serve them to a GIS server; and use them through Web, desktop, and mobile clients.

ESRI ArcView® Desktop Software:

As part of ESRI's ArcGIS Desktop, ArcView is a full-featured GIS software for visualizing, managing, creating, and analyzing geographic data. Using ArcView, you can understand the geographic context of your data, allowing you to see relationships and identify patterns in new ways.

ESRI Desktop Extensions:

ArcGIS® 3D Analyst™ - ArcGIS 3D Analyst provides powerful and advanced visualization, analysis, and surface generation tools. It is also available as an extension to ArcGIS Server. With ArcGIS 3D Analyst, users can view large datasets from multiple viewpoints, query a surface, and create realistic perspective images. Users can also drape raster and vector data over a surface and extrude two-dimensional features to three dimensions using attribute data.

ArcGIS® Data Interoperability - The ArcGIS Data Interoperability extension eliminates barriers to data sharing by providing direct data access, data transformation, advanced format creation, and geoprocessing model integration. Jointly developed by ESRI and ESRI Strategic Alliance Partner Safe Software, this extension is built on Safe Software’s industry-standard Feature Manipulation Engine (FME) technology. It is also available as an extension to ArcGIS Server.

ArcGIS® Network Analyst - ArcGIS Network Analyst is a powerful extension that provides network-based spatial analysis including routing, travel directions, closest facility, and service area analysis. Using the sophisticated network data model in ArcGIS Network Analyst, users can easily build networks from their geographic information system (GIS) data and dynamically model realistic network conditions.

ArcGIS® Publisher - ArcGIS Publisher is an ArcGIS extension that converts map documents (MXD) to Published Map Files (PMF). PMF's contain instructions about the location and symbology of data layers including geodatabase connectivity and Internet connections. ArcGIS Publisher also provides the capability to package spatial data with the PMF for easy distribution. PMF's are viewable through ArcReader, a free downloadable product from ESRI that, along with ArcGIS Publisher, allows map creators to easily publish and share their work locally and via the Internet. Users can also use ArcReader to specify a title for their maps.

ArcGIS Spatial® Analyst - ArcGIS Spatial Analyst provides a broad range of powerful spatial modeling and analysis features to ArcGIS Desktop and ArcGIS Server. With ArcGIS Spatial Analyst, users can create, query, map, and analyze cell-based raster data; perform integrated raster/vector analysis; derive new information from existing data; query information across multiple data layers; and fully integrate cell-based raster data with traditional vector data sources.

Maplex® for ArcGIS - Maplex for ArcGIS is an advanced cartographic text placement extension for the ArcGIS Desktop. Using a comprehensive set of placement options, Maplex for ArcGIS automatically positions text to a high cartographic standard. Maplex for ArcGIS generates clear, well-placed labels that minimize (or eliminate) the need for manual editing. The text is placed quickly, without overlap, without ambiguity, and with the best aesthetic quality, reducing map production time and costs.

ESRI Server GIS:

ArcIMS® - ArcIMS is the solution for delivering dynamic maps and GIS data and services via the Web. It provides a highly scalable framework for GIS Web publishing that meets the needs of corporate Intranet's and demands of worldwide Internet access. Using ArcIMS, city and local governments, businesses, and other organizations worldwide publish, discover, and share geospatial information. ArcIMS services can be used by a wide range of clients including custom Web applications, the ArcGIS Desktop, and mobile and wireless devices.

ESRI Mobile GIS:

ArcPad® - ESRI ArcPad software is a mobile geographic information system (GIS) technology. ArcPad provides field-based personnel with database access, mapping, GIS, and global positioning system (GPS) integration via handheld and mobile devices. Data collection with ArcPad is fast and easy and significantly improved with immediate data validation and availability for informed decision making.
